This Applicant Privacy Notice describes the personal information School Hill II, LLC d/b/a THE GODDARD SCHOOL located at 4320 N. School Hill Rd., Buckeye, AZ, 85396 (“The Goddard School”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects when you apply for a position with us how we use it, and with whom we share it. This notice does not apply to third party sites or services outside of The Goddard School’s careers website and application process. The Goddard School does not include Goddard Systems, LLC, Goddard Franchisor, LLC, and/or any of their affiliates (herein referred to as “Goddard Franchisor”), and this Privacy Notice does not apply to Goddard Franchisor.
- APPLICABILITY
This Privacy Notice applies to personal information collected from applicants of The Goddard School. The term “applicant” includes U.S. individuals who apply for a position with The Goddard School up to the point of receiving a conditional offer, but not after acceptance.
INFORMATION COLLECTION, USE, AND RETENTION
When you apply for a position at The Goddard School, we collect or receive personal information at various stages in the application process as described below:
- Apply for employment with Goddard: When you apply for employment with The Goddard School, we collect from you, through our third party applicant tracking system, your personal identifiers (name, email address, mailing address, selected password, and telephone number) your professional or employment information (resume, education and employment history, licenses and certificates, and desired salary), and protected classifications (gender, ethnicity, veteran status, and disability status (if provided)), whether you are eligible to work in the United States, and if you require sponsorship to work in the United States. We use your identifiers, and your professional or employment information to create your account in CareerPlug (our applicant tracking system), review your background and skills, determine your qualifications for the role you are applying for, and to confirm information related to your education. For equal employment and affirmative action purposes, you also have the option to provide us with your protected classifications (gender, ethnicity, veteran status, and disability status). We use this protected classification information for government reporting purposes, to comply with legal requirements, to analyze requested disability accommodations as applicable, and to keep a record of things like accommodations we provided to address your needs. We will retain this information until you request to delete it or for so long as there is a business need or legal obligation to retain it.
- Participate in a phone call or videoconference or phone or videoconference interview: If you participate in a phone call or videoconference for any reason, including an interview, with your consent, we will collect your physiological characteristics (video stream of your physical appearance) and auditory information (an audio stream of your voice). We use this information to assess your performance during an interview. Interviews are not recorded and retained. We will share this information with our videoconference provider in order to facilitate the videoconference communication with you.
- Participate in an in-person interview: If you participate in an on-site interview with The Goddard School, we may collect, from you, when you register with reception as a visitor, your personal identifiers (driver’s license, government identification card, or passport) and video recordings of you captured through our CCTV footage. We use this information to ensure the security of The Goddard School personnel, students, and property. We will retain this information until you request to delete it or for so long as there is a business need or legal obligation to retain it.
- Responses to role-based aptitude and skills test: If you complete a skills test as part of our hiring process, we will collect the responses you provided. We use your responses to draw inferences about your abilities and aptitudes so that we can match you with jobs and determine your suitability for specific role(s). We will retain this information until you request to delete it or for so long as there is a business need or legal obligation to retain it.
- Credit check information: After you have received a conditional offer from The Goddard School, we may collect from credit reporting agencies your commercial information, i.e., credit report (open lines of credit, outstanding balances, auto or student loans, foreclosures, late or missed payments, any bankruptcies and collection accounts, motor vehicle information, and other information returned in your credit report). We use this information to assess your fitness and suitability to the role you have applied for. We will retain this information until you request to delete it or for so long as there is a business need or legal obligation to retain it.

- INFORMATION SHARING
General Sharing:
Goddard shares applicant personal information in the following instances:
- Within The Goddard School: We share applicant personal information among our hiring decision-makers (i.e., The Goddard School franchisee(s), Director(s), and/or other administrators and personnel) for the legitimate business purposes of assessing applications and making hiring decisions. Access to applicant personal information is limited to those on a need-to-know basis.
- With Service Providers: We share your personal information with our service providers to facilitate the application process. Such service providers include our applicant tracking system provider, email provider, IT support provider, background check provider, videoconference providers, credit reporting agencies, and cloud data storage provider.
- For legal purposes: We share applicant personal information with third parties, such as legal advisors, law enforcement agencies, or governmental/regulatory bodies in order to protect our legal interests and other rights, protect against fraud or other illegal activities, for risk management purposes, and to comply with legal obligations.
- During a corporate reorganization: In the event that we enter into, or intend to enter into, a transaction that alters the structure of our business, such as a reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, joint venture, assignment, consolidation, transfer, change of control, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, we would share applicant personal information. We will also share applicant personal information if we undergo bankruptcy or liquidation, in the course of such proceedings.
- DO NOT TRACK
Our systems currently do not support Do Not Track ("DNT") mechanisms. We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. For more information about DNT, visit donottrack.us.
- INFORMATION SECURITY
We maintain commercially reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect and store from loss, misuse, destruction, or unauthorized access. Our security includes physical, administrative, and technology-based measures. We limit access to personal information to only persons who are properly identified and who possess a role or business need to access personal information. However, no security measure or modality of data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security. - PERSONAL INFORMATION OF CHILDREN
The Goddard School’s career website is not intended for use by individuals under eighteen (18) years of age. If we learn that we have collected or received personal information from individuals under the age of eighteen (18), we will delete the personal information. If you believe we have personal information on individuals under the age of eighteen (18), please contact us using the contact information provided below.

This Applicant Privacy Notice is subject to change at any time. Changes to this Applicant Privacy Notice will be posted on this page and will indicate the date the changes go into effect.
